Starting on 6th May, 2021, the Mission 2025 was rolled out running under the Theme: A Free, Safe, and Secure Working Environment for Female Journalists in Uganda.
It will run under the specific objectives include;
- To promote positive institutional approaches towards female journalists (media houses);
- To create an enabling work policy environment for female journalists in Uganda (government);
- To change communities’ attitude and perceptions that impact the safety and security of female journalists.
