Objectives

We want to provide development information to women and other groups for effective decision making and advocate for gender responsive policies and legislation for improved livelihoods.

Our objectives are:

Promote good health, environment, and good governance in Uganda through developmental civic education.

Promote active participation of women in decision making process in Uganda.

Provide user-friendly information to ensure women’s access in the development process.

Promote gender equality.

Promote efforts of rural women through conventional, visual, folk and artistic media.

Provide a forum for dialogue between marginalized groups and policy makers. Advocate and create awareness among Ugandan women about their rights, freedoms, roles, responsibilities, and civic duties.

Counter the negative portrayal of women in and by the media.

Promote professional excellence among media women.
