Media Monitoring

UMWA carries out media monitoring with respect to women’s representation, coverage of elections, reproductive health, and gender issues among others.

One of the monitor projects UMWA has participated in was the Global Media Monitoring Project on 10th of November 2009, a worldwide project that involves 70 countries. Three of UMWA’s journalists monitored the news on radio and tv.
