Christine Amuse

As a station manager, Ms. Amuse has been able to exploit various skills in programming and marketing for 101.7 Mama FM. She is also carrying out duties of arranging radio publicity as well as business development programs, and she takes charge of all radio related programs and activities as well as other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Christine Amuse is pursuing a Masters in ethics and public management at Makerere University where she hopes to build her skills in public management under good governance. Before her masters program she pursued a Bachelors degree in arts, tourism, French and communication skills.

Ms. Amuse was first employed by British American Tobacco as a marketing clerk, then moved to Save the Children in Kumi district as a social worker and lately in Mildmay Uganda as an IT and data personnel. At the same time she was being contracted by University Research College (URC) under USAID as a data consultant. It is now that she is serving as a DANIDA intern in UMWA for six months. Christine is very optimistic to building the radio as a future plan.
